Immigration

Our office is generally only able to assist constituents who have open immigration cases. Specifically, our office can work with federal agencies to get status updates on the following applications and cases:

  • Immigrant Visa Applications

  • Non-Immigrant Visa Applications

  • Asylum Cases

  • Employment Authorization

  • DACA and TPS Cases

  • Citizenship, naturalization and oath ceremony

  • Passport and passport renewals

Before submitting a congressional casework inquiry about pending applications, please check the status(link is external) of your case and check the USCIS office processing times(link is external). If your case is outside of normal processing times, we can submit an inquiry on your behalf and ask about the status of your case.

Please note that due to limited availability, in-person appointments for travelers who are seeking to rush their passports cannot be guaranteed and are limited to life-or-death emergencies. Please see the Department of State’s criteria here.(link is external) You can contact our office by calling 954-733-2800 or fill out this form.
