FL-20 Community Projects Funding
Following the successful inclusion of Community Project Funding in the FY24 Omnibus Appropriations legislation this year, Congress will once again accept requests for FY2025 for crucial direct funding of local projects led by governmental and not-for-profit entities. This allows Members to put our first-hand understanding of our local communities to work to best help our constituents.
Community Project Funding is a tranche of funding set aside in Congressional appropriations legislation (i.e. annual government funding legislation) for eligible community-based projects at the request of Members of Congress. Members submit requests on behalf of eligible entities to secure direct federal funding for projects that are deemed a good use of taxpayer funds and demonstrate evidence of community support for the project.
As your representative, I intend to fight for the priorities that are most important to our district, and I want to hear directly from you about the projects that receive funding.
