TAMARAC, FL. - Today, Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (FL-20) released a statement celebrating President Biden’s announcement that 87,792 PACT Act claims have been awarded in Florida: 

“In a historic milestone, President Biden announced that a record 87,792 PACT Act claims have been granted to Florida veterans. I am proud to have fought for the passage of this landmark legislation, which ensures our veterans get the care and benefits they deserve. This is a monumental step forward in honoring our commitment to those who have served. 

“I am immensely proud to have championed the passage of the PACT Act, a vital step in delivering benefits and services to veterans who were exposed to toxic substances while serving.
