Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick's Statement on the Triple Homicide in Tamarac

Tamarac, FL - Today, Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick issued the following statement on the devastating triple homicide that occurred in Tamarac on Sunday.
"I am deeply heartbroken by the devastating incident that occurred this past week in our Tamarac community. The senseless loss of Mary Gingles, her father David Pozner, and neighbor Andrew Ferrin, at the hands of 43-year-old Nathan Gingles, has left our community in mourning. My heartfelt condolences go out to their families and loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.
I am deeply concerned by reports of systemic failures within law enforcement that may have contributed to this tragedy. The suspension of several deputies, as announced by Sheriff Gregory Tony, highlights the critical need for accountability and comprehensive reform within our police force. We must take appropriate action to prevent such tragedies from recurring. My office is closely monitoring the situation and stands ready to provide any necessary support to those affected."
